‘About A Bicycle’ is a large scale installation in Wilton Park, Dublin, Ireland.
Created by Cian McKenna and produced by Algorithm as part of a larger series of installations to recognize the historical significance of the area.
Cian based his piece on “The Third Policemen” by Flann O’Brien- a novel that is maybe about a bicycle but is definitely surreal.
The music references jazz from the 1940’s, and Dada artists like Dalí and Zappa as well as moody films like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
